Brand New Mustard Bikes Tail Tidy for the 2019 onwards Yamaha XTZ690 - Tenere 700.

Our fender eliminator will refine your bikes styled and purposeful look. The tail tidy mounts your numberplate up close to the undertail removing the unsightly stock item.
 
This part has been CNC cut from lightweight 3mm aluminium for maximum strength combined with minimum weight and finished in a tough satin black powdercoat for a durable finish.
 
Our product utilises the OEM steel fender support to provide an extremely solid design.  
 
The fender eliminator mounts right where the old fender was mounted. No modifications are needed to get it to fit because it's been designed to use the original mounting points of the OEM fender. The product has been designed to shield the indicator and number plate wiring as much as possible. All installation hardware is supplied, and a full step by step video guide is available to make your installation a breeze
 
A white LED number plate light is integrated into the design to light up your number plate and it's included in the price. So you don't have to modify your wiring this item has a link wire with the correct plug, making it plug and play.

Four options are available:
186mm option: Uses the OEM indicators and fits plates up to approximately 190mm wide.
254mm option: Uses the OEM indicators and fits plates up to approximately 258mm wide.
Aftermarket option: Uses10mm hole mounts to fit most after market indicators. Mounts spaced 160mm apart.
No mount option: Has the indicator mounts removed for use with integrated tail lights. 
No mount option usually has a 2-3 week lead time as they are manufactured to order.

Available Configurations

186mm Version

Designed for OEM indicators and number plates up to approximately 200mm wide. Commonly suited to motorcycle number plates from TAS, VIC, NSW, QLD, ACT, most United States and Canadian plates, as well as Kuwait, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and Mexico.

254mm Version

Designed for OEM indicators and number plates up to approximately 258mm wide. Commonly suited to motorcycle number plates from SA, WA, NT, New Zealand, UAE, Belgium, Netherlands, South Africa, Philippines, Russia, Israel, France, Brazil, Norway, Malaysia, Spain, Singapore, Colombia, and Belarus.

Aftermarket Version

Designed for use with most aftermarket indicators featuring 10mm mounting holes with 160mm spacing. Customers should ensure their indicators provide sufficient clearance for the width of their selected number plate.

No Mount Version

Designed for use with integrated tail lights where external indicators are not required. This version removes the indicator mounting points for a cleaner appearance and is typically manufactured to order, with a usual lead time of 2–3 weeks.

Good quality but design issues

This is on a Tenere 700 2019. All T7's would be the same. Vic plate is 185mm wide so ordered the 186mm version. I have Yamaha accessory led indicators - they are partially covered by the number plate. I guess stock indicators might be ok but who puts stock indicators on a tail tidy? The indicator position is fairly low, about midway on the number plate - would look far better if they were tucked up under the taillight. I'm about to put a a high aftermarket exhaust on mine and it will melt the indicators so either need to fabricate something or buy a different tail tidy. This obviously isn't an issue with the product but if you are going to add a high exhaust to your T7 might want to look elsewhere. Would be rectified if Mustard moved the indicators up which would look better anyway. Other than that (which is a bit of a deal breaker for my specific case) the product is well made and good quality.

www.mustardbikes.com: Hi Tim, Thanks for the feedback. We offer plenty of clear pictures of our product mounted, so that customers can get a clear indication of how the product looks on the bike. We also offer an aftermarket indicator mount version specifically for the purpose of mounting aftermarket indicators, which sounds like it may have been a better choice for your indicator choice. It's an unfortunate reality that you can't be everything to everyone, and as such compatibility with other aftermarket products cannot be guaranteed. This is not a design issue, and a good example of this is that a high mount indicator can present issues with ventura racks and luggage systems. Ultimately, the problem here is a compatibility issue with your specific choice of aftermarket products, rather than a design issue with our product.
