Product Returns policy

We understand that sometimes you may change your mind, order the incorrect item, or occasionally we may make a mistake with your order. Whatever the reason, please contact us before sending anything back — we'll work with you to sort out the best outcome.

All returns must be arranged with Mustard Bikes in advance. Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

What can be returned?

Change of Mind Returns

Change of mind returns may be accepted for a store credit or exchange, provided the product:

  • Is returned within the required timeframe
  • Is in the original packaging
  • Has not been opened, installed, used, or damaged

A 10% restocking fee applies to change of mind returns to cover the costs associated with inspecting, repackaging, and returning the item to saleable condition.

Incorrect Item Ordered

If you have ordered the incorrect item, you may return the product for an exchange to the correct item (plus any difference in product price).

The item must be returned in its original packaging and must be unopened and undamaged. If the item has already been opened or fitted, please contact Mustard Bikes before returning it so we can discuss your options.

Manufacturing Faults

Products found to have a manufacturing fault within 24 months of purchase may be eligible for warranty assessment and exchange.

When do items need to be returned?

Incorrect orders and change of mind returns must be returned within 14 days from the date of purchase.

Please contact Mustard Bikes as soon as possible if you need to arrange a return.

How should customers return items?

Items returned due to incorrect ordering or change of mind should be placed inside a sealed Australia Post satchel or suitable protective packaging to minimise damage to the original product packaging.

If your original packaging has been lost or damaged, please contact Mustard Bikes before returning your item.

Return Shipping Costs

All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

In cases where the return is required due to an error made by Mustard Bikes, we may cover reasonable return shipping costs. Please contact us before returning your item to discuss this.

Store Credit & Refunds

For change of mind returns, the purchase price will be issued as store credit, less a 10% restocking fee and excluding any original postage charges.

Store credit can be used towards any future purchase through the Mustard Bikes online store.

Incorrect order exchanges will not receive store credit. If there is a price difference between products, the customer will be required to pay the difference before the replacement item is shipped.
