Frequently Asked Questions
ABOUT MUSTARD BIKES
Where are Mustard Bikes products made?
Right here in Australia. Mustard Bikes products are designed, engineered, and manufactured in Kingston, Tasmania. We are a factory-direct business — when you buy from us you are buying directly from the people who make the product.
How do I contact Mustard Bikes?
The easiest way is via our Contact Us page. You can also reach us through the live chat on this website or by phone on 0493 294 954. We are a small team based in Tasmania, so if we miss you we will get back to you promptly.
Do you have a physical store I can visit?
We are a factory-direct online business and do not operate a retail shopfront. All orders are placed online and dispatched from our workshop in Kingston, Tasmania. If you have a question before ordering, get in touch — we are happy to help.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
What type of delivery address can I use?
All deliveries are sent via Australia Post and can be delivered to standard residential addresses, PO Boxes, and Parcel Lockers.
How much is delivery?
Standard shipping is free Australia-wide on every order with no minimum spend. Express shipping is available from $6.00. International shipping is a flat rate of $30.00 AUD, except for orders to the USA which are $50.00 AUD — this includes all US import duties and taxes.
How long will my order take to arrive?
All orders are shipped via Australia Post from Kingston, Tasmania 7050.
- Standard (free): 3–7 business days Australia-wide
- Express: 1–3 business days
- International: typically 7–14 business days depending on your location and customs clearance times
Please note that Australia Post does not treat a parcel as lost until five business days after the estimated delivery date.
How do I track my order?
Once your order is dispatched you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number and a direct link to track your parcel. You can also log in to your Mustard Bikes account, go to My Orders, and view your tracking information there. If you haven't received your confirmation within 2 business days, check your spam folder or contact us.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — we ship to riders worldwide. International shipping is a flat rate of $30.00 AUD. Orders to the USA are $50.00 AUD, which includes all US import duties and taxes — no additional charges on delivery. For all other international destinations, any import duties or taxes in your country are the buyer's responsibility.
Will I be charged import duties or taxes on my US order?
No. For orders shipped to the United States, all applicable import duties and taxes are covered by us and included in the $50.00 AUD shipping cost. Your parcel is fully cleared before it leaves us — there are no surprise charges on delivery.
Does someone need to be home to receive my order?
No. If no-one is home and Australia Post considers it unsafe to leave your parcel unattended, they will leave a card in your letterbox with instructions for collecting your parcel.
What happens if my address is wrong?
Please double-check your delivery details before placing your order. If you notice an error immediately after ordering, contact us as soon as possible — we process orders quickly and can only update details before dispatch. Once an item has left our workshop we are unable to change delivery details; we recommend contacting Australia Post directly to request a redirection via their app.
If your order is returned to us because of incorrect delivery details, we can reship to the correct address at your cost, or refund your purchase minus shipping costs.
PAYMENT & PURCHASING
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa and Mastercard (credit and debit), PayPal, Afterpay (buy now, pay later), and direct bank transfer (EFT). All online card payments are processed through a secure, PCI-compliant payment gateway with SSL encryption.
Do you offer Afterpay?
Yes. Afterpay is available at checkout — split your purchase into 4 fortnightly payments, interest free. Simply select Afterpay as your payment method and follow the prompts. Available to approved customers; Afterpay's own terms and conditions apply.
Will I receive a tax invoice?
Yes. A tax invoice is emailed to you automatically upon purchase.
Do your prices include GST?
Yes. All prices displayed on the website include GST for Australian customers. International orders are sold GST-exclusive; any import duties or taxes in your country are the buyer's responsibility.
Is it safe to make card payments online?
Yes. All transactions on the Mustard Bikes website are processed through a secure, PCI-compliant payment gateway with SSL encryption. We never store your card details.
WHOLESALE & TRADE
Do you offer wholesale pricing?
Yes. We provide wholesale pricing for genuine wholesale customers and are always looking for new distribution partners. Apply online via our Wholesale Account Application or contact us at sales@mustardbikes.com.au with your business name, ABN, and postal details for more information.
I own a motorcycle dealership or workshop — can I sell Mustard Bikes products?
Absolutely. We supply dealerships and workshops across Australia at wholesale prices and can set up monthly wholesale accounts for regular trade customers. Apply online via our Wholesale Account Application or email us at sales@mustardbikes.com.au with your business name, ABN, and location to get started.
Do you have international distributors?
We do not currently have exclusive international distributors. We ship direct to international customers worldwide and are always open to discussing new distribution arrangements. Feel free to apply via our Wholesale Account Application or get in touch at sales@mustardbikes.com.au.
WARRANTY & RETURNS
Do your products come with a warranty?
Yes. All Mustard Bikes products carry a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects, covering faults in materials or workmanship under normal use.
When does the warranty become valid?
Warranty is effective from the date of delivery. Where accurate tracking information is unavailable, delivery is assumed to have occurred five business days after dispatch.
What does the warranty cover?
The 12-month warranty covers product defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, or change of mind.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Contact us with your order details and a description of the fault. All warranty work is return-to-base — you are responsible for shipping the item back to our workshop. We cover the cost of the repair or replacement and return shipping for all valid warranty claims.
My item arrived damaged — what should I do?
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the damage and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or full refund promptly — in most cases we do not require you to return the damaged item.
What is your returns policy?
We accept returns on unused, uninstalled items in their original packaging within 30 days of purchase. Contact us with your order number and reason for return to arrange it. Return shipping is at the customer's expense unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong product.
FITMENT & COMPLIANCE
Are your fender eliminators ADR compliant?
Our fender eliminators are designed and engineered to comply with Australian Design Rules. ADR certification applies to vehicles as a whole, not to individual aftermarket parts — however, our products are engineered to maintain compliant indicator positioning and visibility. See our ADR compliance guide for full details.
How do I know which size or version suits my bike?
Each product page shows the exact models and years it fits. Use the Part Finder at the top of any page to search by make, model, and year. If you're unsure about indicator type or plate size, the Don't know which size? wizard on each product page walks you through it step by step. Still not sure? Contact us before ordering and we'll confirm the right fit.
Is a fender eliminator legal on a road-registered bike in Australia?
Yes — when fitted correctly. Our fender eliminators are engineered to comply with Australian Design Rules. As long as your number plate is clearly visible and illuminated, your bike remains road legal. Requirements can vary slightly by state, so if you have any concerns check with your local road authority or see our ADR compliance guide.
What is the difference between a 186mm and 254mm number plate?
These are the two standard motorcycle number plate sizes used across Australia. 186mm is the standard plate size used in NSW, VIC, QLD, TAS, and ACT. 254mm plates are used in SA (210mm height) and NT (215mm height). WA uses both sizes depending on the plate issued. Our fender eliminators are available in both sizes — if you're unsure which applies to your state, the size wizard on each product page will guide you through it.
Can I use a fender eliminator on a learner (LAMS) bike?
Yes. There is no restriction on fitting a fender eliminator to a LAMS-approved bike. As with any road-registered motorcycle, the key requirement is that your number plate is clearly visible and illuminated and the bike complies with Australian Design Rules. Our products are designed with compliance in mind, so as long as it is correctly installed you are good to go.
Do you sell spare parts if I lose or break a component?
Yes. We stock spare parts for our fender eliminators including indicator brackets, mounting hardware, and number plate light components. Head to the Spare Parts section of the store or contact us with your product name and the part you need and we'll sort you out.
Still Have a Question?
Our team is here to help — reach out before you order and we'll make sure you get the right fit.
